Challenge
The Minnesota Knitters’ Guild came to us with a dated website, built upon an outdated codebase. The guild had a large member base, that would hold a few live events with many virtual events (due to the rise in COVID-19) throughout the year. They had over 10 years of data in their website and a large amount of blogs, memberships, and event data that needed to be moved from the old website to a modern looking website.
Solution
We migrated the memberships, events, blogs, and other data from their 8+ year old Joomla based website to a modern WordPress website. We added a robust calendar and event system, with advanced ticketing and form capabilities and seamlessly migrated 500+ memberships (some of whom had been members for decades!) from one codebase to another, without any missing data or payment details.
