Gus Gear was ready to ramp up their online sales and marketing efforts. They needed a more robust Ecommerce solution that would provide a great user experience and navigation, and a site that would reduce ordering questions and customer frustration, and increases sales. The website also needed to serve multiple type of customers well – individuals and clinicians.
Byte Technology built a new site on the WordPress platform that served both marketing and Ecommerce needs. The product line was consolidated into fewer products, and product options such as size and color were added, along with a color swatch feature on the product detail page. Customizations were applied to create a unique user experience for each user persona. A streamlined invoicing and returns label process were also created to aid in reducing customer support requests, and the site was also made WCAG 2.1 level AA compliant for accessibility.
