Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz County is a non-profit food distribution center based in beautiful Santa Cruz, CA. Their website was built with an outdated page builder that suffered from the design framework and scripting capabilities of today’s more modern page builders. The functionality of the page builder was diminishing and struggling to perform, slowing down the website and frustrating the staff that had to maintain it.
Solution
Byte Technology’s design and development team refreshed the website with a new page builder and theme for the organization’s content. The food bank’s staff was eager to have more creative freedom in designing pages for their food distribution campaigns and fundraising events. Because we added the Elementor page builder (a visual drag and drop page builder) and rebuilt the pages with the new technology, it added so much more capability to their website. The dynamic and smarter layouts were ideal for displaying important information to their community.
