Cox Communications provides cable television services. Networks have become more willing to black out their signals when TV providers aren’t willing to meet their demands. Cox negotiates dozens of network agreements each year, and when a blackout occurs Cox needed a public website to notify and provide information to their subscribers on the issue.
The Cox Commitment website needed a design update to match the Cox.com branding.
Byte Technology extended an existing design system created by Cox Communications in order to bring consistency across brand properties. Byte first re-designed pages and icons and then connected these new assets to a pre-existing custom disputes platform that manages multiple networks, shows, and customer engagement systems. In order to deploy the new designs, Byte rebuilt the front end functionality of Cox’s disputes platform, which resulted in a fresh user experience for Cox customers seeking unique dispute information.
