Byte Technology was proud to sponsor and attend the annual Colorado Youth Corps
Awards Ceremony on Monday, February 4, 2013. The organization honored its 2012
Champions and Corpsmembers of the Year, including two state legislators and 10
outstanding youth members from across the state. At the ceremony, legislators on
both sides of the aisle applauded the recipients.
“In many cases, these corpsmembers have overcome personal barriers and
capitalized on support from their youth corps to serve our state, further their
education, learn to work hard, and look toward bright futures,” said CYCA Executive
Director Jennifer Freeman. “We are so proud of their commitment to the state of
Colorado.”
Byte Technology currently maintains and supports Colorado Youth Corps
Association’s website. In the spring of 2013, Byte will work to redesign and further
improve the website.
Colorado Youth Corps Association exists to engage and train youth, young adults,
and military veterans on land, water, and energy conservation. The Youth Corps
strive to engage young people in service of their communities while cultivating
leadership and life skills.
